Tasha is a native of Columbus, Georgia.  She attended Kendrick High School where she was a standout cheerleader. After graduation she attended Albany State University where she earned her B.S. in Business Information Systems and danced with the Albany State Golden Passionettes and the Platinum Divas. She later went on to earn her M.S. in Human Resource Management from Troy University. Tasha is also a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.

Tasha's venture into entrepreneurship began after working 6 years in corporate America. In November of 2011, she turned her passion for cheering, dancing, and choreography into a business and established "Tasha's Hip Hop Dance & Prep".  Now approaching her 10 year anniversary, she has already achieved national recognition through her collaboration with local youth rap group Y.N.C.K. by  choreographing for their dancers, "Dancing Dolls". The routine was featured when Y.N.C.K. appeared on B.E.T's Wild Out Wednesday which aired in August of 2012. Tasha's Dance and Prep has also won a number of awards through competing in dance competitions.

Tasha is moving towards continued success.  Look for more youth and adult classes, business expansion, and her presence in the community through public service endeavors. The sky is the limit! With God, all things are possible.
